It's ironic how embroidering a sleeping deer was one of the most stressful pieces of art I have done. What made it pressured was the deadline though. I'll never do embroidery again unless I have lots of time to finish it.
With acrylic paint I painted flowers as a boarder.
I always practice before I officially start a piece. My sketchbook is full of my thoughts in picture form.
